This course brings Online, the same training that WISH offers to the staff managing cases at any hospital empanelled to treat COVID-19 cases. The course provides comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge and build skills in specific areas that allows health workers to confidently deal with patients and their contacts in the community and in COVID Care Centres, COVID Health Centres and at COVID Hospitals.
Course for Front-line Workers
The role of ASHA Workers, ANMs and AWW in the management of Covid is discussed with an attempt to build skills in specific areas that allows these health workers to confidently deal with cases and their contacts at the community level as well as in Covid Care Centres. Focus is on safe practices like hand hygiene, respiratory hygiene and social distancing and supporting public health services through community surveillance and effective communication, dealing with issues such as stigma and discrimination.
Course for Nurses and Medical Officers
This course provides up-to-date knowledge and skills development in specific areas of work expected of Nurses and Medical Officers while dealing with patients and their contacts in the community and in Covid Care Centres, Covid Health Centres and at Covid Hospitals. One gets to learn topics like Triage, Quarantine Management, Medical management and Biomedical Waste Management through simulated 3D Virtual cases in simulated environments.
Course for Lab Technicians
Current Testing Strategy and Guidelines for Covid Testing get covered comprehensively in this course for personnel working in, or planning to work in a laboratory for testing SARS-CoV-19. You will learn all about Sample Collection, Storage, Packaging, Transport and Unpacking. Classification of infectious substances and biomedical waste management and safety issues are adequately dealt with.
